For Government Written Test :
Bring the National Identity Card or the Passport and a Black Pen.
Wear a white shirt and a pair of black trousers .Those who are wearing a T-shirts and those who arrive after 8.30am will not be allowed to sit the exam.
Come to the examination hall of Department of Motor Traffic at 7a.m
Listen carefully to the lecture and advice given by the Motor examiner. Listen to them carefully and answer accordingly.
One hour is given to answer the question paper. Do not start writing until the motor examiner directs you to do so. Use a black pen to write answers.
In the answer sheet issued by the Department of Motor Traffic, follow the instructions given if the serial number and medium of language.
The serial number is given as SM/MT/ in red colour in your application form. Write all numbers in your answer script on top left hand corner.
In the Medium of language box, select the language .
Write the question paper number on the top write hand of the question paper.
Applicants who do not apply for heavy vehicle license need to answer 40 questions only. Questions that deal with technical knowledge need not be answered.
When answering rehearsal paper, it is compulsory answer the 45 questions.
Do not write several times on a number or colour the number. Further when there is an answered number do not write a anther number on it.
Initially answer only easy questions. When answering difficult questions read the questions carefully and write the most suitable answer. Write the answer on the correct box assigned for it.
Write the National Identity Card, your full name and place your signature correctly.
For Southern Express Rehearsal Test :
Please use the Desktop PC or Laptop for do the rehearsal papers. Because it's easier than using a mobile device.
When you are selecting pages of the rehersal paper, please use the white color arrows in blue boxes which are in both sides of the middle on the question paper.
You will not be able to start the exam until you are clicking "Start The Exam" Button.
When you are filling the information of yours, please be kind enough to put first name or small part of your name in the signature field.
When you are filling the information of yours, please be kind enough to put the serial number which has been provided by the Southern Express Driving School in the serial number field.
In the Rehearsal Paper text box , please select the paper number.
In the Mechanical Knowledge text box, please select the level of your skill.
Even if you finish the exam earlier, you will not be able to submit the paper until the estimated time is over (1 hour & 15 minutes).
When "Exam Finish" alert appears in the screen, you can start to submit the paper.
After appears the "Exam Finish" alert, you will not be able to do any changes of the answers or filled details.

ජාතික හැදුනුම්පත හෝ විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්‍රය හා ,කළු පැනක් රැගෙන එන්න.
සුදු පැහැති හා කළු පැහැති ඇඳුමින් සැරසී එන්න. ටී ෂර්ට් පැළඳ එන අයට හා උදැසන 8.30 පසුවී එන අයට විභාගයට ඉදිරිපත්වීමට අවස්ථාව නොලැබේ.
උදැසන 7.00 ට මෝටර් රථ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ විභාග ශාලාව අසලට පැමිණෙන්න.
මෝටර් රථ පරීක්‍ෂකතුමාගේ වැදගත් දේශනයට හා උපදෙස්වලට හොදින් සවන් දෙන්න. ලබා දෙන උපදෙස් අනුව පිළිතුරු ලියන්න.
පිළිතුරු ලිවිම සදහා පැයක කාලයක් හිමිවේ. මෝටර් රථ පරීක්‍ෂකතුමා විසින් පිළිතුරු ලිවීම ආරම්බ කරන ලෙස උපදෙස් ලබා දෙන තෙක් පිළිතුරු නොලියන්න, පිළිතුරු ලිවීමේදී කළු පැනක් භාවිතා කරන්න.
මෝටර් රථ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව මගින් දෙනු ලබන පිළිතුරු පත්‍රයේ අනුක්‍රමික අංකයට හා මාධ්‍යට අදාලව දෙනු ලබන අදාල උපදෙස් මත කටයුතු කරන්න.
අනුක්‍රමික අංකය SM/MT ලෙස රතු පාටින් ඔබගේ ඉල්ලුමරු පත්‍යේ සඳහන් කර ඇත. අනුක්‍රමික අංකය පිළිතුරු පත්‍රයේ වම පස උඩ කෙලවරේ ලියන්න.
මාධ්‍යයට අදාල කොටුව තුල තමා තෝරාගත් මාධ්‍යය සඳහන් කරන්න.
ප්‍රශ්ණ පත්‍රයේ දකුණු පස උඩ කෙලවර සඳහන් කර ඇති ප්‍රශ්ණ පත්ර අංකය / පෙරහුරු පත්ර අංකය කොටුව තුල ලියන්න.
බර වාහන සදහා ඉල්ලුම් නොකරන අයදුම් කරුවන් ප්‍රශ්ණ 40 ටම පිලිතුරු ලිවීම ප්‍රමානවත්වේ, කාර්මික දැනුමට අදාල ප්‍රශ්ණ වලට පිළිතුරු ලිවිම අවශ්‍ය නොවේ.
පිළිතරු අංකය උඩ කීප වරක් ලිවීමෙන්, අංක පාට කිරීමෙන් හා පිළිතුර ලෙස ලියන ලද අංකය මත වෙනත් අංකයක් නොලියන්න.
ආරම්‍භයේදී පහසු ප්‍රශ්ණ වලට පිලිතුරු ලියන්න, අපහසු ප්‍රශ්ණ වලට පිලිතුරු ලිවීමේදී හොදින් කියවා වඩාත් ගෙලපෙන පිළිතුර ලියන්න, අදාල ප්‍රශ්ණ අංකයට අදාල පිළිතුර නිවැරදි කොටුව තුල ලියන්න.
ජාතික හැදුනුම්පත්, අංකය සම්පුර්ණ නම හා අත්සන නිවැරිදිව සදහන් කරන්න.
සදර්න් එක්ස්ප්‍රස් පෙරහුරු පරීක්ෂණය සඳහා:
පෙරහුරු පත්‍රිකා සඳහා කරුණාකර ඩෙස්ක්ටොප් පරිගණකයක් හෝ ලැප්ටොප් පරිගණකයක් භාවිතා කරන්න. ජංගම උපාංගයක් භාවිතා කිරීමට වඩා එය පහසු වේ.
ඔබ පෙරහුරු පත්‍රයේ පිටු තෝරා ගන්නා විට, ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍රයේ මැද දෙපස ඇති නිල් පැහැති පෙට්ටිවල සුදු වර්ණ ඊතල භාවිතා කරන්න.
පෙරහුරු ප්‍රශ්ණ වලට පිළිතුරු දීමේදී ප්‍රශ්ණ 45 ටම අනිවාර්‍යෙන්ම පිළිතුරු ලියන්න.
ඔබ "Start the Exam" බොත්තම ක්ලික් කරන තුරු ඔබට විභාගය ආරම්භ කිරීමට නොහැකි වනු ඇත.
ඔබ ඔබේ තොරතුරු පුරවන විට, කරුණාකර ඔබේ නමෙහි මුල් නම හෝ නෙමහි කුඩා කොටසක් හෝ අත්සන් ක්‍ෂේත්‍රය තුළ තැබීමට කාරුණික වන්න.
ඔබ ඔබේ තොරතුරු පුරවන විට, කරුණාකර සදර්න් එක්ස්ප්‍රස් රියදුරු පාසල විසින් ලබා දී ඇති අනුක්‍රමික අංකය අනුක්‍රමික අංක ක්‍ෂේත්‍රයට ඇතුළත් කිරීමට කාරුණික වන්න.
පෙරහුරු පත්ර අංකයට අදාළ පෙළ කොටුව තුළ කරුණාකර පෙරහුරු පත්ර අංකය තෝරා සඳහන් කරන්න.
යාන්ත්‍රික දැනුමට අදාල පෙළ කොටුව තුළ කරුණාකර ඔබේ දක්‍ෂතාවයේ මට්ටම තෝරන්න.
ඔබ කලින් විභාගය අවසන් කළද, ඇස්තමේන්තුගත කාලය (පැය 1 යි විනාඩි 15) අවසන් වන තෙක් පිළිතුරු පත්‍රයේ රැඳී සිටිය යුතුය.
තිරයේ “විභාග අවසන් (Exam Finish)” ඇඟවීම දිස්වන විට ඔබට පිළිතුරු පත්‍රය සදර්න් එක්ස්ප්‍රස් රියදුරු පාසල වෙත ඉදිරිපත් කිරීීමට පටන් ගත හැකිය(Submit The Paper).
"විභාග අවසන් (Exam Finish) " ඇඟවීම දර්ශනය වූ පසු, ඔබට පිළිතුරු හෝ පිරවූ විස්තරවල කිසිදු වෙනසක් කිරීමට නොහැකි වනු ඇත.
